Here’s a photo set from our home mock election we held on Sunday afternoon. Ainsley made the voting booth shield.
The kids enjoyed learning about how to vote and especially getting stickers. But we all like that part, right?
Ainsley learning to play Adventure Time-themed Munchkin card game with her brother.
Here we are launching the model rockets we built earlier in the week. This is Ainsley’s rocket just after lift off.
Naturally, it landed in the trees behind the houses back there. At least we got to meet the new neighbors when asking if we could go cut it down.
We learned Ticket to Ride as our New Year’s Eve party at home.
We finally had a proper snow today. So we took the day off work and went out to play in the snow. We made some snow men and snow angels.
We took the pedals off of Ainsley’s bicycle so she could practice just balancing the bike. After a dozen or so times down the hill, she was ready for pedals and to ride around!
Ainsley and Angela making pumpkin muffins.
During out trip to Dallas, TX over Spring break, we all tried out ice skating for the first time (except for Angela, who had been once before). Ainsley really took to it, skating around the rink on her own…
…and holding hands with her mom or dad.
Ainsley enjoys taking her own photo & making videos with the iPad Mini. Wyatt got into this one, though.
School is closed and it may be really cold today, but Ainsley found a great way to keep warm. Pull up a shaggy dog like a blanket!
